To take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts under Goal-13 of SDGs and to Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss under Goal-15 of SDGs the Organisation has been implementing Natural Resource Development Activities, Community Forest management, Watershed Development, promotion of climate resilience agriculture activities.

In previous years SWATI was implemented Drought Prone Area Programme ( DPAP), Plantation and Land Development, Campaign on Protection of Natural Resources to reduce Climate Change effects and Cyclone Rehabilitation Program in its working villages. Currently the Organisation is facilitating in implementation of Odisha Forest Sector Development Programme, Phase – 2 to achieve sustainable forest management in the project area through forest restoration initiatives along with providing income generating and livelihood opportunities to the forest dependent communities in Ganjam District. The Organisation has also initiated Campaign on Protection of Natural Resources to reduce Climate Change effects to sensitize the people on Climate change issues and to encourage them in protection of Natural Resources.
