SWATI has identified its thematic areas according to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and local priorities.

It has been implementing livelihood security, income generation, Agricultural development and Skill development programmes to End poverty in all its forms everywhere in Goal-1 and to End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture in Goal-2 of SDGs

To ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages under Goal-3 of SDGs the Organisation has been implementing General Health activities, Maternal, Newborn Child Health & Nutrition, Malaria eradication, HIV AIDs prevention, Adolescent health, Maternity assistance, Health and sanitation, safe drinking water and remote area health service activities.

To take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts under Goal-13 of SDGs and to Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss under Goal-15 of SDGs the Organisation has been implementing Natural Resource Development Activities, Community Forest management, Watershed Development, promotion of climate resilience agriculture activities.

To achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls under Goal-5 of SDGs SWATI has been implementing different women empowerment activities like formation and strengthening of Women groups, skill development of girls and women, income generation and economic activities for women groups, prohibition of girl child marriage and end all violence against women.

To ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all under Goal-4 of SDGs the Organisation has been implementing Early Childhood Care and Education, National Institution of Open Schooling (NIOS), Library for youth, cluster level information centers, E – learning centers for children, life skill education for dropouts etc.

To promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels under Goal-16 of SDGs SWATI has been promoting youth clubs, community level organizations and orienting them on communal harmony, peace and justice.
